Your project should focus on how particular linguistic (grammatical) phenomena can be presented and taught in a linguistically informed way, i.e. how the findings of theoretical linguistics can be used and applied in language teaching. You can start, for instance, from language books (course books, grammars or any other books) currently used at schools in Greece (Greek language or English language learning/teaching). Your aim is to investigate what actually happens in books with respect to your chosen phenomenon and how its presentation would be different and (maybe better) if one incorporated linguistic ideas and evidence coming from the linguistic theory presented in your current course (Universal Grammar) into language teaching. In other words, you are expected to put theoretical linguistics ideas into practice in language teaching. You can also apply your proposal in class if you so wish and check its value.
