1. Cover page that includes your name and the title of your IP.
a. Optional: include 3-5 keywords and a >250 word abstract.

2. A brief overview of relevant scholarly and practitioner literature, with a focus on the highest quality sources. (12 pages)
3. Exploration of the gaps in research that motivate your IP. (Two pages)
4. A carefully worded research question. (Less than one page)
5. A clear articulation of the possible contributions of the IP to knowledge of the topic in the field. (Two pages)
Section Break titled “Methods of Inquiry”
6. A description of the planned method of inquiry, with a detailed task-driven timeline. (Five pages)
7. A statement that discloses the potential obstacles to answering the research question, noting all relevant forms of bias. (2 pages)
Section Break titled “Appendix A: Sponsor Information”
8. A short description of the professional expertise of the IP Sponsor, and how it is relevant to the project. (1 page maximum)
