These tragic events not only take away lives but also leave survivors with a never ending profound trauma. Understanding the experiences of these survivors and the communities they form is crucial to addressing the long-term impacts of such violence. not only for them but also for us to make a change.
David Hoggs is a survivor of one of many school shootings in 2018 at Major Stoneman High School in Florida. He has been a good advocate to ending gun violence. He ran a protest in Washington with thousands of people in attendance. Which helped pass federal legislation on gun violence in decades.
