Week 4 Blog
A blog is a personal web space where you can record your opinions, thoughts, feelings, ideas, and creative expressions on a given topic.  A blog is what you make it: a scrapbook, journal, photo album, opinion column, micro book, sketchpad, or soap box.
For your Creative Blog, your posts will be related to the themes we are studying.
For this assignment, you will need to add at least one design element. To add a YouTube video clip, use the “Add content” tool (look for the plus sign with a circle around it on the bottom right-hand side of the blog toolbar). Click the plus sign and scroll to “YouTube video”; then, search for your chosen clip. To add an image, again, use the “Add content” tool (look for the plus sign with a circle around it on the bottom right-hand side of the blog toolbar). Click the plus sign and click “Insert Local Files”. Then, locate your image, and click “Open”. Be sure the image is saved as a jpeg or png file.
Requirements: each entry must be at least 125 words. 
Week 4 
Relating to Poetry:  This week, you read Rilke’s “The Panther.”   Rilke wrote this poem after his friend, the sculptor Rodin, suggested he choose a zoo animal and observe it until he really knew it.  “The Panther” is the result of that study.  What does Rilke capture of the spirit of the panther?  Do you think the ideas in the poem can be applied to human beings as well?
