These instructions reflect a task our writers previously completed for another student. Should you require assistance with the same assignment, please submit your homework details to our writers’ platform. This will ensure you receive an original paper, you can submit as your own. For further guidance, visit our ‘How It Works’ page.

USE YOUR OWN WORDS. Do not plagiarize by copying from the Internet or other places without using citations and endnotes. If you plagiarize, your paper will not be accepted, and you will fail the course. You can use the textbook, your ideas, and the ideas expressed by others in the class. Think for yourself. If you use ideas or acquire in-formation from elsewhere, you must cite the source and use endnotes. Please avoid us-ing quotes. If you use another person’s ideas, you should paraphrase — you must still cite the information in an endnote section You must write at least 1200 words minimum. You should write as much as you need to produce an excellent paper.

Follow these instructions carefully.
If you use another person’s ideas, you should paraphrase — you must still cite the information in an endnote section. Please do not include any of these in-structions in the document you submit for your paper.
Please choose a topic from the following choices. These are all covered in the textbook:
*         · Physician-assisted suicide (eg., Should PAS be legal in the US?)
*
*         · Capital punishment (eg., Should the US have capital punishment?)
*
*         · Torture (eg., Is torture ever morally justified?)
*
*         · Same-sex marriage (eg., Should same-sex marriage be legal?)
*
*         · Health Care (eg., Should the US have universal health care?)
*
You must write at least 1200 words minimum. You should write as much as you need to produce an excellent paper.
Please use the following headings in your paper, which are given in bold and un-derlined below. You must have these headings below typed into your paper. Fol-low the instructions below. They explain what goes into each section of the pa-per.
Name: (Put your name on your paper.)
Word count: (Please give the word count for your paper.)
Title: (Please give a title for the paper.)
1. Introduction and Thesis
(In this section, please give an introduction to the topic, and you must also give a thesis statement for your paper. Your thesis statement must state your position on the issue you have selected. You must state your thesis with the phrase: This paper argues that _______ .  For example, This paper argues thattorture is never morally acceptable. Or This paper argues that capital punishment is morally permissible and should re-main legal. In this section, you can include a brief summary of the main reasons for your thesis.)
2. Argument and Explanation
(In this section, argue for your thesis. Using one paragraph for each reason, give rea-sons for your thesis. Use at least 4 reasons or more for your thesis. Explain as com-pletely as you can your reasons for your view. To help develop reasons, consider the different ethical theories, and use them to create reasons to defend your thesis.)
3. Objections and Replies
2 / 2
(In this section, you must consider at least 4 objections to your views, and you must reply to each of them. An objection is a reason that goes against your view or what someone might say against your thesis.)
Objection 1:
(Explain one objection to your view here. For instance, suppose you argued against capital punishment. Someone might object that we should have capital punishment be-cause it deters crime. Using this objection, you would explain here the view that capital punishment deters crime.)
Reply 1:
(Here you must reply to objection 1. Respond to objection 1, and explain what is wrong with it. Defend yourself against objection 1. Using the example of capital punishment, you could attempt to reply that capital punishment does not deter crime. You would have to explain why capital punishment does not deter crime. You could find information to back up this reply.)
Objection 2:
(Here you must give another objection to your thesis. You must have at least 4 objec-tions and 4 replies.)
Reply 2:
(Here you must give a reply to objection 2. You must have at least 4 objections and 4 replies.)
Objection 3:
Reply 3:
Objection 4:
Reply 4:
4. Conclusion
(In this section, give a concluding statement of about 100 words summarizing what you have already said. You should restate your thesis statement. Do NOT add anything new in the conclusion. You must only summarize what you have already said in the paper.)
5. Endnotes
(You need an endnote section if you have used other people’s ideas or facts from some-where else, like from the Internet. Please use endnote numbers in your paper and list the citations in this Endnote section. You can use any available format for citations that you think works. Remember, if you use other people’s ideas and information, you have to cite it.)
