I have worked as a Registered Medical Assistant since 2015. I started my healthcare career in high school as a CNA in 2006. I want to be an RN because I love helping people and making a difference in people’s lives. I show determination and drive, my husband was deployed for 1 year and I held down our household, full time job, and took care of our 3 children. My financial need for this scholarship would really help us due to my husband having to take a pay cut for a different job so that he could be home more often(He used to be an OTR truck driver) so that I can go back to school. We have 3 children that we are supporting as well. With one child that will be starting college as well in a few years.
