This paper will entail critically reviewing two psychological
assessment reports about the
same defendant and writing a 8 to 10 page paper outlining the pros and cons
of each
report. This should include content, language, format,and outlining of the decision making process
in the report. Assignment will be submitted through the assignment dropbox no
later than the Sunday of
Week 8. There are no format requirements; this assignment is
graded on content. Should a student choose
to use APA style, the title page, abstract,and
referencs will not count towards the page count.
These reports are based off of reports written by two psychologists about a real case. All
names, dates, and locations have been changed. Each report has it’s pros and cons. Your assignment is to review both reports and discuss the approach each psychologist took.
Be sure to include topics such as formatting, language, if the provided information is
relevant, providing support for their opinion, and addressing psycholegal issues. There is
no specific format for this assignment, it will be graded on content. Focus on analyzing
the content of the reports- so rather then just telling me what they did or said tell me
whether it was a pro or con and why using our course material. This is a critical analysis
paper so the content of your paper should just be about the experts, no need for a review of the literature or an extensive introduction.Be sure to apply the course information in
your analysis.
