The reflection paper should be based on the assigned readings on sources of impact found in the informal home (as opposed to formal school) math environment on children’s development of mathematical concepts or skills. Please focus on addressing the following: 
1. For each of the assigned papers one by one, summarize the key findings and how the researchers investigated the relationship in question. Make sure to clarify necessary terms and/or task paradigms/measures, etc. (especially new ones that we have not reviewed in the previous lessons). For those we have reviewed earlier, it is optional for you to give them an adequate explanation for the purpose of this assignment. But ideally (for good scientific writing practices), I would recommend that you treat every independent writing assignment as a new paper as if you were presenting information to a new group of (domain novice) audience for the first time and thus clarifying anything you consider necessary for a first-time audience to the give topic.  
2. Your reflections and/or questions on these readings. Here are two examples just for your reference: (a) Do you have any new factor(s) to suggest as possibly another candidate source(s) of home impact on children’s informal math ability development? And why do you believe that factor might be? (b) Do you have any critiques for the studies reviewed in these papers? And why?  
Please write in APA style (you may use the “APA Sample Paper_Examples of Formatting” under the “General Study Resources” module for guidance on APA formatting). This paper is typically 3-5 pages long (double-sided).
