Step 1 Choose a population of study and health concern.
Identify and describe the population chosen and the health concern.
Step 2 Research evidenced-based practice.
Explore scholarly sources to research the population of study and the identified health concern. Are there any differences in the health concern across patient populations? Include the references and citations you found using the style provided by your instructor.
Scholarly resources must be current (less than 5 years old) and from a reputable peer-reviewed source. You should not include Continuing Education (CE) articles, information from blogs or obscure webpages. You should never cite Wikipedia in scholarly writing assignments.
Step 3 Identify interventions.
Identify two to three culturally sensitive, evidence-based interventions, specific to the population of study, that could be used to support the population of study and the health concern.
Step 4 Develop a plan of care.
Using the evidence-based interventions you found, develop a plan of care. In your plan, explain how the intervention is a culturally sensitive evidence-based practice method for addressing the health concern. This should be written in a narrative format, not as a list.
Be sure to cite all the resources you used in the completion of this assignment and include a reference page.
