Sadly, at some point in life, everyone experiences a loss or possibly a tragedy. This can be emotionally and mentally damaging in ways that are not immediately realized. PTSD used to be a disorder most often associated with those in the military. Yet, this is not the case anymore as it is recognized as a disorder others are challenged with as well. Anyone who has experienced a scary, shocking, or dangerous event can experience PTSD. It is paramount to recognize the emotional challenges related to an incident to begin to emotionally relearn. In turn, the brain must be retrained to grow past the challenges faced. Below is an article that lists different activities related to brain plasticity.
