Complete a literature search and a search of community-level data regarding your community or organization’s needs. Identify at least ten resources from the last seven years that address the community’s needs.
In APA format, develop a 1200-1500 word statement and literature review of the community problem. Use local data and empirical literature sources to support your statement. Please note that community demographic data will be discussed in Workshop 4.

Your writing should incorporate concepts and demonstrate your understanding of the resources required for the assignment (journals, videos, texts, etc.) and follow all conventions of academic writing, including the use of essay-style paragraphs (topic sentence, supporting sentences, and summary or final statement), proper grammar, correct use of spelling and punctuation, well-written introductory and concluding paragraphs and use of currently required APA writing standards including format (use of cover page, proper headings, page numbers, indented paragraphs, double spacing throughout, one-inch margins, same font throughout, reference page) and APA style including proper use of in-text citations, concise language, paraphrasing and active voice in the first or third person.
