Using the instructions starting on page 24 in Chapter 1 of Enhancing your Executive Edge as a guide, interview 1 individual who will be able to provide feedback that you can enter into your Johari Window diagram.
In order to receive full credit, you must provide the completed Johari window as well as a 500 word (max)reflection that answers the following questions:
Why did you choose the person you chose to interview?
What insights did they share in your session that were new to you/ that you have never heard before?
What were the biggest surprises to you regarding the Blind Spots?
Which adjectives may be helpful to you since you now know other’s perceptions and observations?
What Hidden adjectives would you like to show more often to your team members? What would be the first step you could take to move in this direction?
Was this exercise helpful in helping to determine how others perceive you? If so, how will you integrate the feedback into your work style? If not, what would you change about the exercise to make it a useful tool for you?
