Proposal: System Engineering in Human-Robot Collaboration
Introduction:
Human-Robot Collaboration (HRC) is a field which combines robotics, artificial intelligence and
human factors engineering. System engineering provides a structure by designing, integrating,
and managing complex systems, which will make this highly applicable to HRC.
Objectives:
Analyze a case study that applies system engineering methods in HRC. Then consider how to use
system engineering methods with applications in HRC.
Methodology:
Select a relevant case study uses system engineering in HRC, such as industrial collaborative
robots, collaborative manufacturing systems, or medical collaborative robots. Then Analyze the
chosen case study in detail, focusing on the system engineering processes used, identifying
strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in the current methodologies.
Conclusion:
Studying and using systems engineering methods for HRC. By analyzing a chosen case study
and developing methodologies to analyze the advancement of both systems engineering and
human-robot collaboration technologies.
