“Blake” is a six-year-old in the first semester of first grade. Follow along as he reads the passage Anita and the Airplane (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYnldtZcKiw). and answers all the questions on the response sheet. 
Record the time at the beginning and end of the reading to calculate the total time it took the child to read the passage.
Follow along as the child reads, taking a running record of the child’s reading.
Listen to the child’s answers to the comprehension questions and score the child’s answers on the response sheets.
Calculate the errors in oral reading accuracy and correct comprehension responses.
Record the scores.
Use the Scoring Guide for Oral Reading and Comprehension to determine if this passage was an Independent, Instructional, or Frustration Level passage for this child. ( in the pdf attatched)
Determine the child’s reading rate and percentile for oral reading fluency.
Calculate the number of recall, inference, and vocabulary questions answered correctly by the child.
Use the Reading Rate Scoring Guide for Grade 2 to calculate and record the child’s reading rate.
Determine the child’s percentile for Oral Reading Fluency Norms for Grade 2using the chart.
Scan your results and provide a PDF.
Provide PDFs of your findings and attach them to your initial post.
Respond to the following questions in your Initial Post:
Report the percentage of words the child correctly read aloud, fluency data, and comprehension data.
Determine if this passage was an Independent, Instructional, or Frustration level passage for this child.
