Attention Deficit Disorder is starting to be more common as early as preschool aged kids. Many times, individuals see ADHD and automatically think that the person is special needs. While we are all different, we all inhibit different ways of our thought process. Attention Deficit Disorder with the acronym ADHD causes impulsive thoughts and not being able to stay focused for a long time. Many uneducated people consider that as a child being disruptive or ill mannered when in fact the brain is just always running at an intrusive rate. The H in ADHD is commonly left off which stands for hyperactivity. ADHD messes with some ability to rest like others when it is time for bed. While ADHD can be treated with medicine but some of the side effects are weight loss, and some become overly sedated where they are in a trance until the medicine wears off.

Interesting topic, but be sure to research the difference in ADHD and ADD. They are different diagnoses, but similar. The “H” is not present in ADD because it is a bit different than ADHD. Be sure to focus on the psychological aspect of the topic chosen.
