Purpose
DNS is critical to connecting to websites and companies around the world. None of us can remember all those IP addresses so name resolution is essential and DNS (domain name service) provides that ability.
Assignment Instructions
Part 1. Complete the following lab sections using uCertify website (Networking with Windows 2016).
Section 1.1.33 Setting aging and scavenging properties
Section 1.1.34 Creating a zone delegation
Section 1.2.12 Installing AD DS with the Server Manager
Section 1.8.2 Enable debug logging on DNS server
Part 2: Do research in the library or on the Internet about the history of Windows Server. Write a 2-page APA formatted descriptive paper on the history of Windows Server. Select an earlier version. This can include Windows 2000, 2003 Server, or 2008 Server. Compare the evolution of Windows Server, including Windows 2016 R2 Server. Cite your sources.
