– In this assignment, you will pick a topic from our lectures and write out a brief research proposal. You will design an experiment based on what we’ve learned so far in the course. This experiment does not have to be perfect! The point of this exercise is to help you think through your research questions and put yourself in the shoes of a researcher. This experiment also does not have to be completely pragmatic, though it should be realistic! For example, your study could include self-driving cars but not flying cars as those don’t exist (yet). Pretend that you have been given a large grant and have plenty of resources. This assignment should be about 2-4 pages in length, is worth 30 points, and is due July 7that 11:59PM. This paper should be written in APA style.
– The goals of this assignment are for you to be able to build upon previous research to formulate your own research question, create a hypothesis/hypotheses, and design empirical methods to test your hypothesis/hypotheses.
