These instructions reflect a task our writers previously completed for another student. In this assignment, you will be focusing on Telling a Story. This assignment will require the student to write their own case study. There are several items that the student must address when creating a medical case study. You will be relaying the information in this case study to a group of new interns in the patient’s room.
Students will find two diseases in Chapter 13, under the Pathology of Endocrine System.
Students will learn about the two diseases, what do they do to the body, the characteristics of the disease, what is the mortality/cure. The case study must be no less than 500 words. I highly recommend you gather as much information as you can about medical case studies before you begin to write.
Students will do a video of their case study and upload the recording. In this video, you must present yourself visually.
Give your patient a History: Do they smoke? Are they obese? What are their symptoms? What is their chief complaint?
The following are things for you to think about when building your case study
What were the steps you took to diagnose the diseases? What diagnostic test could confirm your suspected diagnosis?
What is the prognosis and what are you going to do to treat this patient? Is there a procedure that can be done?
You are telling a story about this patient, make it as interesting as you can.
Students will then upload the assignment where it states “submit the assignment.”
Students will be graded by the rubric below
Students must have 85% or above to pass the Proving Ground
