Step 1: Identify an issue from our course that engaged you and with which you have personal experience. You can draw from any text we have read so far relating to justice, oppression, race, class, or gender.
Step 2: Describe, narrate, illuminate and analyze an experience/text/instance/event that changed your understanding of this issue.
Step 3: Write a compelling intro and conclusion – the conclusion should raise the stakes and show the larger significance of the story/analysis.
Step 4: Make certain all paragraphs are organized by transitions, topic sentences, and specific details that build to the next paragraph and eventually the conclusion.
