Additionally, consider conducting an Internet search using databases or Google Scholar and find an article illustrating an example of a criminal justice research study involving some aspect of technology. Discuss how research influences change in the field focusing on the gap between academic theory and practice in the field, including recent incidents and court cases and how they may impact routine operations. Be sure to include scholarly research, recent articles, or current events to support your findings or position following APA. Use the APA and writing resources in the Getting Started folder to help you publish your paper, including multiple in-text citations and references. You will find an example of an APA paper that may be helpful.
