Instructions:
• Select a movement from the list below to focus on
• Select one poem from this movement OR one poem from this movement and write an imitation of your own exemplifying this movement
• Research the movement and get an in-depth sense of how the movement occurred, what created it, and how it impacted literature as a whole
• Detail and analyze the style of the movement and draw connections between the work of the movement and at least one pop culture artifact from the same time period (song, television show, film, painting, sculpture, etc.)
• Compose a 4-6 page essay detailing the history of your movement as described above
