Find a peer-reviewed scientific article (utilizing the library data bases, or something like Google Scholar) that relates to ANY topic that has something to do with Family Violence. Make sure that the articles are research studies (not an essay or something like that) For the article, you will write two paragraphs (at a minimum, you can write more) PARAGRAPH 1 Answer the following questions, in your own words, in full sentences. What was the purpose of the study (i.e., What were the researchers trying to discover?) What did they do in the study (e.g., Did they survey victims of domestic violence? Did they interview first responders to incidents of family violence, etc.)? What did they find out? PARAGRAPH 2 Write (at least) one paragraph that: Explains how this research relates to family violence. Why you think that the research study is important to the study of family violence. CITATION After you complete your paragraphs, provide an APA citation of the article. If you are unsure about how to construct APA citations, there are many free resources through our school library and online as well.
