For the final project, you will be asked to use geostatistical techniques to analyze a meteorological problem. To do so, you must first develop a question that can be answered with these methods.
Determine what meteorological question you would like to answer. Use the example problem questions in the Milestone One Guidelines to assist you, if needed. Refer to the GHCN Documentation for details related to the specific weather data available.
Select a state (or states) and time frame from which to obtain your data.
Within that state (or states), use the Stations file to select 20-30 locations to serve as your observation locations.
Follow the instructions in the Choosing and Getting your Data PDF document to obtain your observation station data from NOAA.
To complete this assignment, review the Milestone One Guidelines and Rubric PDF document.
This assignment will be graded on a pass/fail basis.
