Your source must be a reputable authority on astronomy or physics (i.e., either the author of a published paper or book, or if a purely online source, an academic or journalist at a reputable publishing or academic institution).No more than 2 direct quotations(and only 2 lines of the quotations)!Citations are a
must, even when you are paraphrasing.sources should include books, articles from a reputed Physics or Astronomy magazine, or online information to get full credit. Please always make sure you get information from credible sources such as NASA webpages. Avoid getting information from blogs or Wikipedia! You need to have at least 4 sources.
Focus on your writing! – Even though this is not an English class, it is very important to write a coherent science paper with fewer errors
Organization – Writing is coherent and logically organized with transitions used between ideas and paragraphs to create coherence. Overall unity of ideas is present.
Level of content – Content indicates original thinking and develops ideas with sufficient and firm evidence.
Development – Main points well developed with quality supporting details and quantity. Critical thinking is weaved into points
Grammar & Mechanics – Essay has few spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors allowing reader to follow ideas clearly. Very few fragments or run-ons.
Style – Attains college level style; tone is appropriate and rhetorical devices used to enhance content; sentence variety used effectively.
Format – Meets format and assignment requirements; margins, spacing, and indentations are correct; essay is neat and correctly assembled.

Organization
There should be an introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion!
The paper or the presentation needs to be organized with each paragraph or a couple of slides dealing with a specific topic . For example, if you selected a space mission to write/present, there can be one paragraph discussing the instruments on board, another paragraph focusing on its important observations, etc. Content Related to the Topic
Include facts and figures but make the paper/presentation readable and interesting for the non-scientist. Include your thoughts and opinions too and make it YOUR paper/presentation!!
