The System Design and Interoperability assignment is designed for students to explore system design, use and interoperability between systems.  
Students will use the text and the links provided below to create a table that displays essential information about information systems commonly used in healthcare.  The table should include columns for:  system, its common use, benefits, and barriers to use of the system.  
Then in 250-500 words to explain the need for interoperability between system.  Students will choose a System Design Life Cycle (SDLC) process (either Waterfall, Rapid prototype / application development, Object-oriented system development OR Dynamic system development method) and explain how the system could be used to improve IT quality within the organization.
