At their last dental visit, John had no cavities but Mike had two. Mike wants to know why John, who chews gum after eating, doesn’t have cavities and he does. How would you explain this to him?
2. Think about your usual eating habits. List three food items that would fall under the “refined grains” category. Select three “whole grains” food items you would be willing to substitute in place of the refined grains.
