Describe the
anti-racist or anti-oppressive gaps in your selected policy and why they
need to be addressed.
Describe the
changes you are proposing to address those gaps and the desired outcome of
those changes.
Provide a
rationale for the proposed changes.
How will the
changes enhance social justice or promote civil or human rights?
Identify some
obstacles or barriers to the proposed changes.
Explain
strategies for addressing or avoiding the obstacles or barriers you
identified.
Provide 2–3
action steps a social worker can take to propose these changes to a
legislator or lobbyist.
Describe some
resources (tools, people, organizations, etc.) necessary for implementing
the action steps.
Provide a
rationale for the resources described.
How will the
techniques, tools, processes, or resources you identified help the change
